Tata Motors launched the Tiago EV in India in September 2022. Tata Tiago EV has four version options: XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech Lux.
Depending on the configuration, the Tata Tiago EV is priced between Rs. 8.69 lakh and Rs. 12.04 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Tata Tiago EV is available in three colors: Magnetic Red, Signature Teal Blue, and Daytona Grey.
The wheelbase of the Tiago EV is 2,450 mm, length is 3,993 mm, width is 1,677 mm, and it has five seats.
Charging:
There are a few options available for charging: 15A plug, 3.3kW charger, 7.2kW AC fast charger, and DC fast charger.
You can use the 7.2kW AC Home Wallbox Charger for easy charging at home.
For medium and long ranges, SOC 10% – 100% can be charged in 2.6 and 3.6 hours, respectively.
However, DC Fast Charging is used for on-the-go charging. In this, SOC 10% – 100% can be charged in 58 minutes for both medium and long-range.
There is also a 15A portable charger, which gives the option of charging anywhere. SOC 10%–100% can be charged in 8.7 hours for long-range and 6.9 hours for medium-range.
Battery:
This EV is powered by two battery packs, rated at 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh, and have a range of 250 km and 315 km, respectively. While the 24 kWh battery generates 74 bhp/114 Nm, the 19.2 kWh battery generates 60 bhp/110 Nm.
If you need to drive more doors, you can opt for the 24 kWh or 19.2 kWh battery pack, which gives a range of 315 km / 250 km in the MIDC range. The automatic gearbox is the only available option.
